Supervision
Supervision is an important part of the role of a Counsellor and I provide a safe space to explore issues that have arisen in relationship with clients. The supervisory relationship and process of supervision are congruent with the developmental needs of the supervisee.
We will: Have a contracted, professional relationship which allows you to understand yourself in relation to how you work with your clients. Explore elements of learning, including elucidation of codes of ethics and practice. |
I will: Provide supervision that offers emotional support, containment and clear boundaries for counsellors and their counselling work. Responsibly monitor the working process between counsellor and client. |
